INTRODUCTION TO THE WORLD OF SHOWS

 

There are several kinds of shows and are held throughout the year. The need to develop in the patronal feast of a people and others that gather the best examples of Europe or the world.

The shows are divided into various categories:

The dog must be registered in a given class. The classes are recognized:

-Champions is the class you must register the dog and hold the title of champion of Spain or a foreign country recognized by the FCI.

-open:is the class in which dogs can be registered from fifteen months of age who do not hold the title of champion and not included in the registered class of work.

-puppies: the class in which those copies can be registered with more than five months and less than nine.

The ratings given by the judge are:

-Unqualified: This assessment is given to dogs that can not receive a grade, because his attitude in the ring makes it impossible to assess the movement of teeth, anatomy, structure, testicles and other characteristics of the breed.

-Good: attached to a dog that has the characteristics of the breed, although some acknowledge faults, provided they are not penalized.

-Very Good: This score is attributed to the type specimen of perfect balance and in good physical condition. A slight defect is tolerated but not morphological. This score has a dog to reward quality.

-Excellent: gives a copy to be much closer to the breed standard, which is presented in perfect condition, which is jointly and harmoniously balanced, and has a size and a bright path. The animal should stand out for their great qualities that you will forgive flaws, and should possess the characteristics of their sex.

The judge can assign to each gender, CACIB (in international shows) that can only be awarded to the best dog rated excellent in the first class of champions, open, intermediate or working, and ACC (in national or international shows) that can only be awarded to the best dog rated excellent in open class, intermediate or working.
